Supanova was awesome . Like, amazing and fun and silly and just plain incredible. I loved every moment of i! I’ll definitely be returning next year… and every year! In costume! (Even my sister is dressing up next year, which means it was pretty amazing.) I have photos that I’ll upload tomorrow with a proper post
So, here’s a meme from Amanda at MomBurntDinner.
1. Have you ever peed your pants as an adult?
2. Who do you have a celebrity crush on now?
I think Mark Salling from Glee is gorgeous but I don’t really have ‘crushes’.
3. Would you date someone you met online?
I don’t know. I had a bad experience with an online friend that would make me cautious.
4. Do you wear underwear always?
Yes, definitely. I’m a rather modest person.
5. Do you hate yourself at times?
Yes. I think everyone does, plus depressed and anxious. I’m better than I used to be.
7. Do you like dirty movies?
I’ve never watched one.
8. Could you believe Josha Ledet was voted off Idol?
I think it’s cute that the meme writer believes that everyone follows a specific reality show.
9. When was the last time that you bought a car?
I’ve never owned or bought a car, I don’t even have a valid license – I’m still a Learner!
10. Have you ever been camping?
School camps until I was 12/13, when my mother stopped forcing me to go. I think school camps bring the worst out in people. I frelling loathed every single one except for writer’s camp when I was roughly 11. That was kind of awesome.
11. How many times a day do you go on Facebook?
Whenever I’m bored enough to place Sims Social. Seriously. So maybe once a week?
12. What was the last movie you saw in a theater?
The Hunger Games, I think. I liked it way better than the book – Jennifer Lawrence made Katniss likable, which is a crazy achievement.
13. Have you ever worried that you’d cut off a limb?
Sort of. I was, like, eight and at a country club after a children’s concert. They had revolving doors, and heaps of kids were playing in them, so I joined in. My mum was in hospital at the time, so my dad took us. And he is not a patient person. I decided to go around a second time when I saw his face and realised he was not happy, so at the last minute I darted out, pulling my left arm out just as the door closed. My dad grabbed me and started yelling and verablly abusing me about how I could have lost my arm. And I grabbed my arm and burst into tears because he was right. I was millametres away from losing my arm. I’m still really protective of my arms in revolving doors.
14. Where did you get your last email from?
Teefury – I bought an awesome Sailor Moon one the other day.
15. Favorite website?
I have many – AO3, gmail, livejournal, the Cheezburger network, FMyLife, Etiquette Hell, Deviantart… the list goes on!
16. Are you down with ghetto?
As long as they leave me alone, I’ve got no problem with anyone.
17. Will the world end in fire or ice?
A whimper, not a bang.
18. Do you believe in the afterlife?
Yes, I do. I believe our souls go somewhere good or somewhere bad, depending on whether we’ve been ‘good’ or ‘bad’. FYI, ‘bad’ means you’ve inflicted serious suffering on another human or animal (rape, torture, murder etc). Nothing about gender identity or preference, or marital status.
19. Would you be upset if Facebook stopped working?
Permanently? I’d cheer and be all smug . For a short-term? I wouldn’t care or notice. I don’t check it often enough.
20. How did you start your blog?
Twisted-Logic started as a collective domain, my blog started when I was in Grade 9, when my classmate Leila started one. I had no idea what a blog was – I only knew of fansites. So I started ‘Dreaming of Butterflies’ (how corny is that?!) on Angelfire before moving DoB to a T-L subdomain, and finally moved the blog to the main site. I am using the Wayback Machine to find my old entries (I’ve been through a few computers since then, plus I never had any sort of archive system set up) and add them here – it’s a long and dull process.
